A piece made when deep in the experience of new born days with my first. Each marking expressing the rawness of feelings felt during that time. From the repetition of strokes representing the relentlessness of motherhood, the growth from this new body I find myself in Depicted in the vessel and palm. From the shedding of my previous self symbolized in the snake to an overflow of emotion from the tiger. Tears shed, Milk expressed and a rainbow there to mirror feelings of absolute awe at the magnitude of love felt towards this new being I am slowly learning from.
